The subsequent six years were a period of physical and emotional turmoil as Glenn oscillated between various part-time jobs – from a security guard to an aircraft parts inspector and shipper. Despite the hardships, these experiences were not without their lessons, teaching Glenn resilience and adaptability.

1986 marked a turning point when Glenn picked himself up and decided to attend a computer technology trade school.
